Cookie policy

During a visit to our website, cookies (small text files) may be placed on the hard drive of the visitor's computer. The sole purpose of this is to tailor the site better to the visitor's needs. Cookies are never used to track the visitor's browsing behaviour on other websites.

Every internet browser allows you to block the use of cookies or to configure it differently (with a warning, restricted, etc.). Please consult the help function of your internet browser for this.

PHP cookie

In addition to the various types of cookies listed below, a strictly necessary (otherwise unused) PHP cookie is always placed:

PHPSESSID

Without this cookie, the website cannot function normally.

Functional cookies

We use functional cookies to optimise the functionality of certain pages of the website. As a result, some choices do not have to be made every time, and some data does not have to be entered again and again.

The two most commonly used functional cookies store the visitor's language and whether or not cookies have been accepted:

COOKIE_LAN
ACCEPT_COOKIES

Tracking cookies

We use tracking cookies to measure the performance of our website and to be able to improve it afterwards.

For this we use Google Analytics, a popular web analytics service offered by Google. It records the number of visitors and tells us more about general browsing behaviour, such as the duration of a visit to the website or the number of pages a user views on average.

Third-party cookies

Finally, we may also use other third-party cookies from platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn. You should consult the relevant websites of these third parties for more information about their cookies.

All these cookies are used exclusively to tailor the site better to the visitor's needs. Once again, cookies are never used to track the visitor's browsing behaviour on other websites. You can always block or configure cookies as you wish via the settings of your internet browser.
